The next event, in conjunction with Hafla and Fertile Ground, promises to be equally unique... Cooking From The Heart Sunday 29 June 2008 at 6pm Venue: St Ethelburga's Centre, 78 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG A celebration of food and culture from across the Middle East - delicious food created by our mothers will be shared with guests in a wonderful evening of food, stories and song. The Middle East has a long tradition of a loving and generous hospitality. We would like to bring different people together through the sharing of food and create collaborations between cultures such as Arabs, Muslims and Jews that may not have previously existed. Would you like the opportunity to take part in this unique event in the beautiful surroundings of the Bedouin tent and peace garden at St Ethelburga's in the heart of the City of London? WE ARE LOOKING FOR WOMEN: · OF ALL AGES IN LONDON WHO COOK IN THE ARABIC OR JEWISH TRADITONS · WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT FOOD AND COOKING · WHO WOULD LIKE TO COOK THEIR FAVOURITE RECIPES TO SHARE IN AN EVENING OF FOOD, STORIES AND MUSIC · WHO HAVE STORIES ABOUT THEIR RECIPES AND FOOD Further plans include a documentary, photos and a cookbook.
